Sloving a problem on the street

One serious problem in the streets is littering. Littering is a big problem because it makes the street very bad and discussing. One thing we can do is have people clean it up. Even with that they should teach kids not to throw garbage in the floor and to put it in the garbage can. Even with both of those things there are probably still going to be people throwing their garbage on the floor so what the state can do is fine people if they are caught throwing garbage on the
floor. I think with all these things we can do the streets will get cleaner.

The city can hire people to clean up the streets. This way the street would be so messy and full of trash. This can also benefit people by giving them jobs so they can work and get money. What this can do is let people see what a clean street look like and learn to clean up them selves to make it hat clean. But if kids are playing they would probably make a mess unless you teach them to not throw garbage on the floor.

To help stop littering you can teach kids to not litter and teach them how bad it is and how bad it makes the streets look. Most of the garbage on the floor it thrown there by a kid or teenager and if you stop that group from throwing trash on the streets most of the trash on the streets would be gone. Another thing, teaching them to not throw trash on the streets make want to make them clean around and in their house. But even with this you still have to stop the rest of the people.

To help stop littering all together they should fine people that are caught throwing trash in the streets. No one wants to pay money so they would stop automatically. This can also benefit the city to get money for things like pot-holes, libraries and other things that need money to do or support. I do think all of these things combined could make people stop littering.

The problem of littering in the streets could be solved by these three actions. Having people clean up the streets, teaching kids not to litter, and make fines for it. Why shouldn’t you have a clean street?

Hansel and Gretel

As the older sibling I have to take responsability for my little sister. Our family is very poor, after my mother died my father has been very depressed. He had married again but to a demon. She is mean and always treats us like dirt. She takes the food all by herself. I don't know how my father could fall in love with such a witch. In the night, my sister and I heard our step mother and our fagther taking. They were talking about leaving us in the forest. My sister started to cry but I calmed her down. I dicided to sneek out and get some pebbels. I have a plan.

The next morning our step-mother woke us up. She said we were getting firewood but we knew it was a lie. Outside I started throwing pebbels on the floor. y plan was to make a path of pebbels that would lead us back to our house. Later at night we found out it worked. We arrived at our home and our father was very happy to see us though our step-mother was full of rage. This night they were planing to take us further in the forest. I tried to get more pebbels but the door was locked from the outside. We were indeed stuck but I had another plan.

This time I would use the crumbs of m bread that they gave us to make a path. They told us they were coming back later to pick us up but I knew it wasn't true. Even so we waited until evening to wait for them. Once we knew for certain they were not coming we dicided to follow the bread crumbs back to the house, only that they weren't there anymore. I think the animals must have ate them all or the wind took them away since they were so light.

Adam's Diary

FRIDAY: Well, I don't know where I am. This place is truly consusing. There are theis strange things all around me. I don't know what they are or what they want with me but they seem friendly. I have found this strange cave on the side of this pointy thing. It dose not seem to move so it won't hurt me. It is getting dark and I can't see very well. It is very cold .Theis things with weird patters in their backs came inside the cave with me. At first I was scared of them but now I see they just want to keep me warm. There is a bright round thing looking at us in front of the cave. It doesn't look scary but it is relaxing to look at.

SATERDAY: I woke up and found the strange things gone. I think I should call them animals or bugs but I don't know. I see yet another strange animal but this one looked more like me. I think I should stay away this time. I was going up a pointy thing and I ran into some water. I saw many things swiming. I liked them and I wanted to have one. After a wile I started to notice the animal that I saw yesterday was following me. I don't know what it wants with me. Maybe if run I can loose it. I've been euning for a few minutes but it doesn't want to get away. I think I'll just go back to the pond.

I was playing with the swiming things but the thing yelled at me. It said to not hurt the fishes. I learned that the things are called fishes, or at least what it calls them. It was being very annoying.

The Outcast of PokerFlat

If you had to blame someone or something or the outcasts' deaths, who/what would you blame & why?

I woulod blame Bad Luck because the whole thing started with bad luck. What happened in PokerFlat when they were going to kick out all the bad people, that was pure bad luck to them becuase they agreed to it. When they found Tommy and Pinty that was bad luck to them because they were on their way to PokerFlat but they runned into the outcasts. If they never had bumpt into eachother they wouldn't have died and would just be on their way. Also, when Unckle Billy left with all their horses that proved bad luck to all in the cabin because they were tranded there. When the snow storm came right at the same day they slept there. Then the final prof of bad luck is when Tommy was too late with the help and found everyone dead.

Kate Chopin

The Story of an Hour: I really liked the story and liked on what it was saying. It was saying that back then a women, once married was traped in their marrage and the only way to get out of it is for one is to die becuase there weren't no devorces. She really explained that some women are hoping for one to die (preferaly the husband) and are happy when they die. She kept that in mind wile still keeping a funny ending.

The Blind Man: In the blind man you really feel sad for the guy, he's blind, stupid, and mistreated. In the story even the cop wanted to hit him. No one helped him by buying a pencil or just even telling him to take of his coat or telling him to walk to the other side of the street. It's a really same and I felt simpathy. Kate Chopin really did a good job telling us about how handycap people had it very rough and how they were discriminated.

Desiree's Baby: This was a really great story. How Desiree was abandond infront of her house and fell in love and had everything she had ever wanted but then was taken away becuase her husband thought she was black. But then later had a twist that reveiled that he was black. It was a very short story but a very good one. You can really see how racisim worked. When the jusband thought Desiree was black he stoped loving her, looking at her, or even speaking to her. Back then blacks had no respect so when he thought she was black it really made him stop loving her. With this, it told us how unequil the two races were and one little thing can break a family that loved each other.

Dr. Heidegger's Experiment

I've just game them the water. I don't know how they will react but I hope I will soon find out. If this expiriment is a sucess I will finaly be able to be young and run other expiriments that my current years wouldn't let me.

I poured the drinks in four glasses. I told them to drink up and they coperated once they saw the rose regenerate. I knew it worked wonderfull on plants but I never used it on humans.

I started to notice changes, their wrinkles have gotten lighter and less noticable and the expression on their face tells me it as working. Now to see how long the effect lasts.

They asked for more of the water and I gave it to them. They now looked like men and women of around thirty five. Amazing, two drinks and they are already aged back so much. Widow Wycherly has been looking in the mirror at herself for five minutes and had a face that of a person that could not belive a single thing.

Wycherly took another 4 minutes for looking at herself then walked up to me. She asked if they could have another drink. I had it ready and they took it. I can belive it! They went down to their Twenties.

They did the same thing, they didn't learn. They failed that test but the experiment might still seced.

After 30 minutes of dancing and flerting they started to get onlder. I can safly say that this test is a failure at this point. I have no more to say.

Desiree's Baby, The Sequel

"What is this! This.... this must be fake. It must be!" This raged Armand so mush he threw the drwer to the floor and crushed the letter in one of his hands. He fell to the floor punching the floor with the hand that had the letter in it. "This must not get out! This must burn! But the slaves can't see this." he put the letter in a cigar box and holded it on his side. He started to walk outside and towards the fire.

Flowers for algernon

If you were given a choice to have an operation that would make you much smarter, would you do it, especially if you knew the effects of the surgery would only be temporary? Why or why not? Use examples from the story.

For me, I wouldn't have that surgery even it was only temporary. I feel like this surgery would be sort of like cheating. If you use it, it wouldn't be fair for the people that worked hard to get much knowledge as you would get with the surgery. Plus, it would give you something very valuable you would need to have but it's temporary so it would be taken away and that's worse than not getting the surgery in the first place. Also, having the surgery to make me smarter may come with a bad price. Like in the story when Charlie found out that the people weren't his friends and that they were just using him for their entertainment. I could also find out something that I didn't want to find out and might regret finding about it. Then when Charlie get smarter and people wanted to avoid him and would despises him for being that smart, that might happen to me. I would intimidate people away from me and I would be left alone. Getting really smart does sound really good even if it's temporary but it certainly comes with negatives and I don’t think I can live with them. Even if it’s only temporary but the damages would still be made.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Chapters 8-the end

Explain what this story says about each of these issues. Use examples from the story to support your explanations.

-FAMILY

-AGE

-BEAUTY

FAMILY: I think that the story of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button teaches us about family a little. One thing it teaches us is that all family is not always supprtive and sometimes are ashamed of a family member. Family is soppose to not discriminate they're family but in the Button's family, when Benjamin was born his father disliked him and resented him and later even Benjamin's son was mad at him for being strange and weird. Another example is that Benjamin started to get tired of his old wife and didn't want her anymore.

AGE: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button tought alot about age. People shouldn't be judged about their age and shouldn't be kept from doing something ether. In the story, Benjamin looked too old to go to collage but he was actually only 20 years old. Also that Benjamin wanted to club without his wife because he was too old and he felt young. I'm guessing younger people don't want to be around ya older people.

BEAUTY: Beauty does matter and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button teaches us a little bit about that. At first when Benjamin as born, the doctor and nurses were scared at him becuase he looked like a 70 year old man. Also when Benjamin first met his future wife she was beautiful and he still looked like a 50 year old man and people were critisizing him that he was too old. Beauty matters becuase people judge alot by their beauty.

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Chaper 3-7

After reading chapters 3-7, predict three problems you think Benjamin will encounter and give your solutions for each.

I predict that Benjamin will leave his wife by running away and going to anothr city. What can fix this is that Benjamin and his wife spic up their marrage to save it like going out for dinner alone or going out more just the two of them.

Benjamin would ant a devorce and will want to get away from both his wife and his son. Work on their marrage to make it better.

Benjamin's wife will leave him because he gets too young and looks like a teen. They have to accept it and just keep on with their lifes.

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button Chapter 2

Roger is so overly concerned with how Benjamin looks & is worried about what people are going to say. What should he do?

What Roger should do is make Benjamin act like he is his father infront of people but when in their house, Roger is the father again. If that doesn't work is dress him up like a normal kid and just say he has a skin disorder.

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Chaper 1

What would you have done if you were Roger Button in Chapter 1?

What I would have done was go out in the street in a car and if people asked me who he was I would just tell them he was my father. I would let him be himself inside the house but out of it he would say he's my father. I would say that my child died at birth so there won't be any suspision. And when he finally dies we would attempt to have another child, but right this time.

I just love the way they work
They are complicated in every bit

I do have other hobbes
Like sports and other things
But computers are my favorite
Something about them makes me sing

Nothing can compare to it’s enjoyment
It’s just a fun thing to use
It’s gives me a great enviroment
It makes me comforable even when I lose.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

That day was great. Some photographers came to our house to take a picture of our family. They gave us some realy good food to eat in the picture but they said we could keep it. When we had our picture, we had rotten luck and took the picture wile one of the assistant was leaving. They didn't give us another picture becuase they say they were way too expecive. Good thing it was too dark where he was standing to be able to notice without a hard look or it would have been a bad photo. They didn't tell us what it was for, but we didn't ask. They had my little sister Daina, little brother John, my grandma Dora, my mom Cathy, and me, Barly in the picture. I was in the middle but I didn't mind, as long as I had my food. After the picture, our neighbor came to our house to say what it was like. "So, did they tell you what it was for" Asked Kate and Sam, our neighbors. "No, they just said they wanted to capture the avarage settaling family." Answered my mom. "That's to bad, I would love to know where to find the picture of your family. I bet it would be the talk of our little town." Sam said "I guess it is too bad. It not too bad, at least they gave us a delicuse meat. I know Barny thought it was great." My mom said laighing to herself. "Well, we best be leaving. We have to plant some seeds before it gets dark. Have a good day Cathy." "You too Sam, Kate." My mom replied as they walked out the door.
"I do wonder what the picture was for." I said. "I bet it for some newspaper in a bigger town." Daina said wile she was throwing her doll up in the air. "You shouldn't worrie about it kids. It will turn up somewere. John dear, why don't you go and give some company to your grandma." "Sure." he said runing into the house. "You kids stop playing around and help me take out these weeds. Daina, stop tosing that doll into the air like it's a ball. That doll cost me a fortune, it's not for tosing." My mom said. We kept doing our chores until dinner. There, we ate the left overs of the last meal. We finnished them that day. The next morning we woke up by our neighbor. "CATHY, CATHY!! You need to see this!" "What is it Mr. Ronsbarry?" My mom said "You have to see this paper!" "Ok, let's see." My mom started to read the paper and every second she read her eyes and mouth kept opening. "Oh my. This is not true." She said gasping at the paper. "What is it mom?" I said. "It says that this family, us, doesn't belive in god and questions the existance of him." my mom said in a worried tone. "Is this true?" said Mr. Ronsbarry "Of course not, who would lie about something like this?" "We need to get this changed." As we said that, a mob started to form outside our house. We needed to tell them the missunderstanding. We told them and they belived us. The mod went to the newspaper building and demanded it them to change it. They did and we were happy again.

The Secret

It was my best friend's deepest, darkest secret and it would be a hard one to keep. John Howard told me as his last words before he died. He told me a secret codeword that he said to tell the Will reader. He was suppose to read me another code to open a box of his that he gave me in his original Will which I though was some joke. His family was interested about the box. They kept asking me if I have seen it or if I have ever opened it or even what's the code to open it. All I said was that I don't know, and I really didn't. The day after his funeral, I dicided to check out that "special will" he left me. The Place was down a cliff. As I was going down I applyed the brake, suddenly I heard a snap. The car started speeding up rather than slowing down. I was scared and pulled up the handle for the emergency brake. I managed to stop just in time. "That was weired" I sad to myself. I called a tow truck to take my car to a mechanics shop. I had 1 hour until my car got fixed so I went on to the place I needed to be.

When I got there I asked for Mr. Jonson which had John's will. I said "does 'marine' mean anything?" "Ahhhh so Mr. Howard entrusted you with the secret will." We got to a nice quite room and he took out a book. He opened it "Here we are." "ahem" he said c learing out his throut. "To my best friend Kyle, I bet my dead is realy sad to every one. After all we knew each other sence Kindergarden, but now we are grown men. I need you to do something for me. I gave you a box in my other will. It's a very important box. It's in my room under my bed. I need you to get it and open it with a code I will give you in just a few moments. Do NOT let any of my family see it or have it. After you get it, hide it from them. Please, I hope you can do this for me. The code I put on the box is 94235." "So that's it?" I asked the man. "Yes, you may leave if you want or stay and look at the will but I have to go." He replied "I'll go too." I left too get my car and once I got it I headed for John's house. There his mom greeted me, I asked if I could go to his room and she took me. She slammed the door behind me like if she was mad. I got the box and opened it. It was a book. I opened it. At first I didn't know what it was, then I found out. "The Howards family were killers." Just then the door flew open. There stood Mrs. Howards with a knife in her hand. "What's going on?" "What's going on is I can't let you out of here alive." "She was blocking the door so I couldn't get past. I grabbed the book and then saw that the window was open. I ran to it and jumped. I got out of there alive and I ran to the police station. They had enough proof in the book to lock te whole Howards family. I guess that was their secret, I couldn't believe that my best friend's family was a family of murderers. I was shocked.

Her Mysterious Death

Her death was due to a mysterious circumstances and I was assigned to the case. They let me choose a partner to work with. I chose my regular partner Mike Harry, he was always devoted to solving cases. A few months earlier,we solved the death of James Taylor. They said he was killed my his wife but we found out it was the maid along. He was real clever but not smart enough. This case was different. She died in a little suberban area so it couldn't have been just a robery gone wrong. Her name was Amelie Sanders, the other investigators said it was a suicide. Me and Mike though not. The way she died was just didn't seem like a suicide. Her body was laying on a table with a rose on the top. Mike later found out that the rose was from a bouquet in her living room. Amelie was alone, no boyfriend, no husband. Her friends say she had no enemies or problems with anybody. Not long until the medics took her to examine her. They scanned her but never found any trace of blood spill or poison in her veins. We were stumped, we didn't find anything in her body. That day we decided to look for any leads in her house. We looked every were but the only thing we found was were she worked. She was an executive in a big company. He made deals that could ether earn or lose the company millions. He had a very important role and I wondered if someone might have wanted her job enough to actually kill her. In a lot of cases, this turned to be true so I had a feeling this one would turn up the same. I came too the front door of what used to be her job. "Gander .co, the big money making company." said Mike wile walking through the doors. "I used to work here, I was really good at discovering who ate the last donut so I though I could give Investigator a try. The office wasn't really my thing.

When we got up to the main desk Mike started talking to the front desk person. "Hey Allen." " Oh Hi Mr.Harry, haven't seen you here is a wile." said Allen. "Thanks, hey do you know on what floor Ms. Sanders works on?" Mike asked "Sure do, he works on the46th floor but sometimes goes up to the 57th floor for meetings." "Thanks Allen, have a good one" "no problem Mr Harry." After that talk we got on the elevator and went to the 46th floor first on this 60 story building. We got there and we saw what er think it was on every floor, People ether in their cubicles, in the brake room, or by the the copy machine. We asked for were Amelie's desk. They directed us to a big office on the corner of the building. When we got to it there was a Man sitting in her chair. "What are you two doing here?"the man said in a demanding voice. "We came here because of the murder of Amelie Sanders."I said to him. "OK, come in" After a few minutes of talking to him we managed to learn that his name was John Howards. We also found out about his alibi. Amelie died only about 24 hours before she was found on Sunday so that means she was killed on Saturday. Mr. Howard was in the office the whole day. Everyone said he was there. He was in a meeting from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.and then just stayed is his all day. His office was on the 46th floor too and his office door faced the middle of the room so he couldn't have gotten out without anyone seeing him. Although this was a good alibi I still found him suspicious about Amelie's death and then him getting promoted so fast.

We honestly though Mr. Howards had a very solid alibi. "Oh, I'm sorry. May I ask what are you two doing here, surly two detectives like you wouldn't think one of my employees did it?" he said "No" i said "We just talked John Howards, he said you were in a meeting with him." "Oh yes, it took most of the morning away from us." "The morning?" "Yes, I believe we were called at about 7 a.m. to about 3:30 p.m." he said is a thinking voice. "Oh really, well thank you Mr........er....." "Mr. Manson" He said intrepidly. "Well I'm Yazan Kittaneh and this is my partner Mike Harry." "Well I would love to stay and chat but have another meeting." "We'll best be on our way too." "He seemed nice" said Mike. "Did any of that seem to you as odd Mike?" "Not at all, why do you?" "He said that the meeting, the meeting thats supposedly is Mr. Howard's alibi. Mr. Howards said it took place in the evening yet Mr. Manson said it took place in the morning. Now the question is, Who is right and who is wrong?" As we were walking out of the elivator we got a phone call. Brrrrinngg Brrriiinnngg I anwered it "Hello?" "Hey Yazan, it's Kathy." "Oh hi, did you get anything from the body?" "Yes, We found out that she was wounded by a fist multiple times but was killed my sufication. I hope that helps on the investigation. Is there anything else I can do for you?" "Yes, can you find out more about a John Howards and a Mr. Manson from Gander.co?" "Sure, just give me a few hours." beeep We hung up. We dicided to go back to Amelie's house. We found out that she had a part time job at a resturaunt from a paycheck that was in the kitchen. It was called 'The Good Eat' and was only a few blocks from her job at Gander.co. We also found that the portable house phone was on the phone. "Well why would this be on the floor?" asked Mike "Maybe she was trying to call someone" I said. "Check her resent calls" "sure thing" Mike responded. "That's weired, it looks like someone already tried to dial a number on this phone." "what's the number?" I asked. "555-233, but that's only 6 digits. Why wouldn't they be able to dial the full number?" "Maybe they were struck before they could dial it in." I said. Mike looked at the phone, looking like he was thinking hard "This number is familiar, I think it's from Gander.co." " Let's deal about that later, we have to go to 'The Good Eat' first." Mike scribled the number and a little note in his notebook and we left for the resturaunt.

"Hello, may I help you?" asked a waitress "We want to talk to the manager please." Mike asked "Ok, please wait here." A few moments past and the manager finaly came out. "Can I help you two gentlemen with anything?" The man asked. "We would like to ask a few questions about
Ms. Amelie Sanders." I asked. " Ok, come in to my office." We followed him to his office, his office was very disorganized, there were plapers everywere and in a pile. "I'm sorry about the mess, try to make your self at home." We sat down. "Can you tell us about Ms. Amelie Sanders?" "certaily. She only came here to work at nights. She got along with all of the workers." "Did she come to work before she got murdered?" "What day did she get murdered again? Was it sunday?" "No, we belive it was around Saturday." "Ok, then yes she did come to work on Friday." "Did she act weird when she was here." "Not that I know of." "uumm interesting, well Mr. manager, thank you for your time for answering some of our questions." "Don't mention it, oh and call me Gary." "Aright Gary, we'll tell you when we know anything else." We walked out the door from his office. "Anything I can help you with officers?" said one of the cooks "Yes, you can actualy, Does Amelie have some kind of Punch card of when she comes to work?" "Yes, do you want it. Take it." "Thanks." We left the resturaunt. "Did you see anything strange?" asked Mike. "No, did you." "I saw a paper with the Gander.co logo on it."

How to make Logandale Better

I think a few things would make Logandale a better school. One thing would be to have better after school programs. Another would be to get better books and materials. My last thought to make the Logandale a better school is more classes for kids to be educated in. More after school activities can make kids want to come to school.

Kids need a good reason to stay in school after it’s over, what better way than an after school activities. Activities that would help kids in school and might teach them to focus on their work. A physical after school activity would get kids exercising. Other after school activities can help students with organizing or understand certain problems or questions. After school classes also need materials to use.

New books and materials would make the school better. New books in the school library would get kids to stay and read there. Having new materials in classroom can make a lesson go smother. You could have new equipment for a science experiment can make it safe. New materials can result in new classes.

More classes would make Logandale a better school. Students would love having more fun classes. Like a class that would help you in the career you want. Another idea would be a project class, maybe to make projects we couldn’t do in out house. These are just some things that would make the school a better place.

In conclusion, these are some good ideas to better our school. Better after school programs, new books and materials, and more classes. Don’t you want to make Logandale a better school?

Yazan Kittaneh's life story

I remember when yazan was born. His mother, my daughter was so happy when she saw him. Every one was so happy. There was a big heat wave passing Chicago when he was born. He didn't cry all that much. I took care of yazan wile my daughter worked the day. I would let him run around in the back yard and play with our neighbor's son. He would love eating beans and rice I made. When he got older like around 4 or 5, he liked to sing. If I played a song on the radio,he would get a spoon and pretend to sing it.

Later, His, my daughter, and 4 of my sons moved into a 4 floor house (if you include the attic and basement) and out of mine. Yazan and her mom were in the 4nd floor (attic). 2 of my sons when to the 1st floor. Two of my sons and my other daughter lived in the 2nd floor and they rented the basement. Yazan was starting off kindergarden and came to my house everyday afterschool (because I lived two blocks away from the school). One timeduring the summer when he got off kindergarden he came to my house, he went downstairs to my basement to watch his Power rangers (because we had the TV down there). I was upstairs doing he dishes and then I heared him scream. Soposaly he wanted to do a frontflip like in the show off the bed and when he landed he twisted his foot badly. He screamed and try to crawl up the stairs. I of course went down to help him. Later, his mom took him to a ciropractor that was his friend. He was ok just had to stay off it and move it around once and a wile.

He started First Grade and he came to my house everyday. Around October or November, Yazan and his cousin Diego wanted to spend the night and my house. That night was lucky and very unlucky for him and me. That day, the house my sons and daughters live in caught on fire. My daughter (yazan's mom) was able to smell the smoke and was lucky to be able to warn my other daughter and son in time to get out of there. The good thing was that no one got hurt, especaly Yazan because he was in my home. Bad thing was that most of their stuff got burned. Because their house was burned they had to come back to live with me. They spend a few months in my house then they found an apartment to live in wile their house was geting fix by my sons (they are construction workers). They stayed there for a wile also mintaining their own resterant (they owned a resturant too). When the house was finnished they moved back in their house. The first year he was there he turned 7 years old. His mom, my sons, and my daughter allpitched in to buy his a new swing set for his birthday. It was the happiest I ever see him.

During that time he got 2 new neighbors. One was accross their block and the other was right nextdoor. His mom was working alot so he would usualy spend a ton of time with his uncles in the house. He went on to 2nd grade and to 2rd grade. The scedual was the same. He would come to my house after school and then be picked up my his mom. He turned 8 years old and gone up to 3rd. Then 9 years and when to 4rth grade. 10 years and 5th and then went on to 6th grade, middle school. He turned 11 when he got to 6th. Then went off to 7th and turned 12 years old. Now he's 13 years old and in 8th grade.

What Barrack Obama should do

What I expect from Barack Obama is to improve our school for 2 reasons. My first reason is that there would be more funding. My second reason is that schools need to become safer. My last reason is upgrading the school. All these reasons involve better funding for the school.

Schools need more funding for many things. For example, the school would use it’s extra funding for newer school supplied like calculator and text books. Also to get more teachers and to support more after school activities. We can also hire more security personnel to keep the school safer.

Improving our school can mean better security. If we get more security guards then we would be safe from any disturbances. Also, if we got a security system then it could prevent robbers to steal stuff from the school. This will really improve the school.

The school would be upgraded. By upgraded I mean adding more stuff like a new floor, new classrooms, newer lockers, or even new pipes. It would look and be newer. Also it might fix many of the problems of in the school. This is what I think Barrack should do in his moment in office.

In conclusion, Barrack should improve our schools for these reasons. Barrack should fund schools, make them safer, and helping them upgrade. Shouldn’t he do these thing for schools?

What change my life

What changed my life was an even that happened to me when I was 5 years old. What happened was I was at my grandma's house with my little cousin that was 3 years old. We went there to play. My grandma would always let us play in the back yard. This time we went to the yard but my grandma wanted to make a call so she left us alone in the back. The gates were hard to open (I mean to a 5 and 3 year old) so we couldn't get out. We were playing near the neighbor's gate and we suddenly heard a loud bark. This was our neighbor's dog. My cousin and I were scared of it. We tried to open the door to go inside but we were too small to reach the handle.

Just then, The dog jumped out of the gate. Of course I was scared so I knocked on the door. (this sucked) My grandma was in her room so she didn't here us. I had to get her to open the door so I graved my cousin and went to the front of the house. I rang the bell (it was actually lower than the handle) and just then the dog came. Luckily, my uncle that was I the living room and opened the door. He took us in the house and chased off the dog.

I guess I learned that not all dogs are nice from this experience. Of course not all dogs are mean but I should be careful about the dogs around me. Now that I'm older, I don't need to worry about that but it was an OK lesson. It was still a scary experience but a least I got something out of it.

I do agree that parent are the best teachers for 3 reasons. My first reason is that children would feel more comfortable learning from their parents. My second reason is that children would learn lessons that no school can teach. My third and final reason is that Children would spend way more quality time with their parent. I personally feel more relaxed and comfortable if I was with my parent.

Your parents are naturally more pleasing to have around you that a teacher that you don’t really know. They were with you when you grow up so you will feel more secure around them. You would take their lessons more seriously. For example if you want to learn something about sex ED, you would feel way more comfortable talking to your parent than your teacher. Also, they would be teaching you lots of different things.

You parents can teach you stuff you can’t learn is school. They might teach you a life lesson you would need to succeed in life. They would also teach you how to use certain things. They would teach you their mistakes and how you can avoid them. Learning stuff like this would give you time with your parents.

You would spend quality time with your parent too. You would spend more time together and bond more. You would also help your relationship with them grow. You would learn about your parent’s childhood. This all is what you would learn from them and what makes them better teachers.

In conclusion, parents would make very good teachers for the reasons listed above. You would feel way more comfortable with them teaching you. They will teach you stuff you won’t learn in school.and you will have quality time with your parent. Doesn’t it make much sense that parents are better teachers.

A skill everyone needs

I think that a very important skill someone can learn is a second language. I think this is an important skill for 3 reasons. My first reason is that you might get into different jobs. My second reason it would help you communicate in a foreign area. My last reason is that it will expand your ability to gain knowledge.

Learning a new language will help you expand your job variety. One example I can think of is being a teacher, you would want to know a second language like Spanish to teach in a Hispanic school so you can communicate better. Also if you wanted to be a translator in a certain company. My last example is that you can get some jobs in where they speak the language you know. Knowing a second language can really help you talk to different people.

Learning a second language can help you communicate in an area where they speak your second language. One example is getting directions. Another might be that you need to talk to someone but they don’t know what your saying, they might know your second tongue. Knowing how to talk is not just the only thing, you can also know how to read it.

My last reason is that you can learn entirely new things knowing a new language. Knowing a new language and knowing how to read it, you could be able to read books written in that language. You might find out different stories and tall tales. You may also learn an entire tradition. I shared all I think of why a new language may help you.

In conclusion I think these reasons are important. Getting more job opportunities, helping you communicate, and also learning way more things are all important and good reasons to learn a second language.

The best day EVA

I think that the best day I ever had was when my copy of The Orange Box game arrived at my house. (I know it's geeky but my URL does say I'm a gaming freak) The reason I chose this day to talk about is that it was one of the happiest days I could remember clearly. What I remember is going to my grandma's house early in the morning to check if my game had arrived but I had bad luck and it still didn't came.

I went to school after that and luckily it was the first day of gym. We started off with a basketball game that was pretty fun. The rest of the classes were kinda boring but at least we only got math homework and nothing else. Later at lunch we had chicken (:P) and it was good. I also got another milk from Jose Delgado. After that the class went to a few more classes and then school ended. I left school and went to my friend's house. It turned out they were having a football game so I joined them. I made 3 touchdowns and 2 successful passes then dicided to go home.

When I arrived at my grandma's house I was bored. I went to the living room and saw a package on the sofa. I opened it and it was my Orange Box game(although it's called "The Orange Box" it's not about an orange box)!!!!!! I was happy but I couldn't play it because my grandma didn't have a computer. I had to wait until my mom comes to pick me up and she did came but unfortunatly she took me to her office. I was stuck not playing a game and in my mom's office(2nd floor). At least my Aunt's aparment on the third floor and there I can watch TV. I had to wait until we got home. Went we finaly got to my house I installed the game an started playing. That was one of the best days I had.

Her Smile

When I looked at her smile, I knew she was up to something. He kept that sneaky smile and ran off. "Darn it Dona" I said "What are you going to do this time?". My little sister Dona has a record for messing around with things that she isn't suppose to but always finds a way to blame it on me. I didn't have time to worry about her, she's going to blame it on me anyways so might as well just use the time she's messing around to finish my project that's due in a week. Maybe I should close the door so Dona won't destroy it. "I'll be in my room Dona, Don't bother me and try not to break stuff". "Fine" she said as I heard her run around near the kitchen.
I was doing my project on conducting electricity, luckily by dad was an electican and can teach me something but unfortunately he was at work right now and my mom was also working. All the books I owned didn't say a single thing about it. There's a library a few blocks away but I can't take my sister (makes too much noise) and can't leave her alone (tells my parents) so I was stuck. CRASH. "That noise came from the living room!" as I ran down the hallway I knew it was Dona. I can in and saw her on the couch with her plate of Mac-n-cheese on the floor. "You know the couch moves a lot when your jumping" Dona said trying to look Innocent. "Why would you do that Dona, now you have to clean it up". "Make me!" She said as she left the room.
I had no chose but to clean it up. She might act sweet and nice in front of guests and our parents but in front of me she shows her true colors. I went to Dona's room to talk to her. "Why did you get the idea to put the plate on the couch and then start jumping on the couch?" " I don't know, I didn't really think much about where to put the plate". "Well next time think" I said walking out on the room closing the door behind me. "And for that your getting locked in your room!" I closed the door and the best thing about it is that the lock was outside so I could lock it. He was banging on the door and yelling for about 5 minutes but suddenly stoped. I though she was just tired but later found out that she got out through her window. I found out whe he started yelling "HAHAHAHAHA I"M OUT AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!" I got outside but he was already halfway down the block running. I chased after her but the constant running into little kids slowed me down. After aout 2 mnutes of me stoping and triping over kids running up and down the side walk I lost sight of her. After another 5 minutes of looking for her around the street and in her favorite hiding spot I knew she went over to the other bocks. From the directon she was going she could have went into 3 different streets. This made looking for her alot harder.
I looked in one street but didn't find her so then I went to the next street. She wasn't there ether. "Where is she" I knew she wouldn't go another block ferther fo I just got up and went to the last one. It was the hardest bock to looking in considering there are hudge apartments and a lot of children playing. I searched and searched and finaly found her. She was laying on the floor with a scraped knee like if somone pushed her. She was crying so i got her up on my sholders and carried her home. "Are you going to do that again?" I asked her "No" "You promise?" "Fine, I promise" She said.
