Her Smile

When I looked at her smile, I knew she was up to something. He kept that sneaky smile and ran off. "Darn it Dona" I said "What are you going to do this time?". My little sister Dona has a record for messing around with things that she isn't suppose to but always finds a way to blame it on me. I didn't have time to worry about her, she's going to blame it on me anyways so might as well just use the time she's messing around to finish my project that's due in a week. Maybe I should close the door so Dona won't destroy it. "I'll be in my room Dona, Don't bother me and try not to break stuff". "Fine" she said as I heard her run around near the kitchen.
I was doing my project on conducting electricity, luckily by dad was an electican and can teach me something but unfortunately he was at work right now and my mom was also working. All the books I owned didn't say a single thing about it. There's a library a few blocks away but I can't take my sister (makes too much noise) and can't leave her alone (tells my parents) so I was stuck. CRASH. "That noise came from the living room!" as I ran down the hallway I knew it was Dona. I can in and saw her on the couch with her plate of Mac-n-cheese on the floor. "You know the couch moves a lot when your jumping" Dona said trying to look Innocent. "Why would you do that Dona, now you have to clean it up". "Make me!" She said as she left the room.
I had no chose but to clean it up. She might act sweet and nice in front of guests and our parents but in front of me she shows her true colors. I went to Dona's room to talk to her. "Why did you get the idea to put the plate on the couch and then start jumping on the couch?" " I don't know, I didn't really think much about where to put the plate". "Well next time think" I said walking out on the room closing the door behind me. "And for that your getting locked in your room!" I closed the door and the best thing about it is that the lock was outside so I could lock it. He was banging on the door and yelling for about 5 minutes but suddenly stoped. I though she was just tired but later found out that she got out through her window. I found out whe he started yelling "HAHAHAHAHA I"M OUT AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!" I got outside but he was already halfway down the block running. I chased after her but the constant running into little kids slowed me down. After aout 2 mnutes of me stoping and triping over kids running up and down the side walk I lost sight of her. After another 5 minutes of looking for her around the street and in her favorite hiding spot I knew she went over to the other bocks. From the directon she was going she could have went into 3 different streets. This made looking for her alot harder.
I looked in one street but didn't find her so then I went to the next street. She wasn't there ether. "Where is she" I knew she wouldn't go another block ferther fo I just got up and went to the last one. It was the hardest bock to looking in considering there are hudge apartments and a lot of children playing. I searched and searched and finaly found her. She was laying on the floor with a scraped knee like if somone pushed her. She was crying so i got her up on my sholders and carried her home. "Are you going to do that again?" I asked her "No" "You promise?" "Fine, I promise" She said.
