A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

That day was great. Some photographers came to our house to take a picture of our family. They gave us some realy good food to eat in the picture but they said we could keep it. When we had our picture, we had rotten luck and took the picture wile one of the assistant was leaving. They didn't give us another picture becuase they say they were way too expecive. Good thing it was too dark where he was standing to be able to notice without a hard look or it would have been a bad photo. They didn't tell us what it was for, but we didn't ask. They had my little sister Daina, little brother John, my grandma Dora, my mom Cathy, and me, Barly in the picture. I was in the middle but I didn't mind, as long as I had my food. After the picture, our neighbor came to our house to say what it was like. "So, did they tell you what it was for" Asked Kate and Sam, our neighbors. "No, they just said they wanted to capture the avarage settaling family." Answered my mom. "That's to bad, I would love to know where to find the picture of your family. I bet it would be the talk of our little town." Sam said "I guess it is too bad. It not too bad, at least they gave us a delicuse meat. I know Barny thought it was great." My mom said laighing to herself. "Well, we best be leaving. We have to plant some seeds before it gets dark. Have a good day Cathy." "You too Sam, Kate." My mom replied as they walked out the door.
"I do wonder what the picture was for." I said. "I bet it for some newspaper in a bigger town." Daina said wile she was throwing her doll up in the air. "You shouldn't worrie about it kids. It will turn up somewere. John dear, why don't you go and give some company to your grandma." "Sure." he said runing into the house. "You kids stop playing around and help me take out these weeds. Daina, stop tosing that doll into the air like it's a ball. That doll cost me a fortune, it's not for tosing." My mom said. We kept doing our chores until dinner. There, we ate the left overs of the last meal. We finnished them that day. The next morning we woke up by our neighbor. "CATHY, CATHY!! You need to see this!" "What is it Mr. Ronsbarry?" My mom said "You have to see this paper!" "Ok, let's see." My mom started to read the paper and every second she read her eyes and mouth kept opening. "Oh my. This is not true." She said gasping at the paper. "What is it mom?" I said. "It says that this family, us, doesn't belive in god and questions the existance of him." my mom said in a worried tone. "Is this true?" said Mr. Ronsbarry "Of course not, who would lie about something like this?" "We need to get this changed." As we said that, a mob started to form outside our house. We needed to tell them the missunderstanding. We told them and they belived us. The mod went to the newspaper building and demanded it them to change it. They did and we were happy again.
